Conditions for Alumni to Use Koç University Libraries
Rumeli Feneri Campus – Suna Kıraç Library
Koç University alumni can use Suna Kıraç Library at Rumeli Feneri Campus. They must be a member of the library if they want to borrow books, DVDs and other materials. In case they are members of the Alumni Association, they can start to benefit from our library by paying 50% of the annual deposit and usage fees (300 TL in total) received from individual external members. It will be sufficient to send a message to the libcirculation@ku.edu.tr and fill the form and deposit the required fees.
Following the opening of the library accounts, our alumni have the rights to borrow 10 books and renew them once for 30 days, borrow 2 DVDs for 3 days and access to electronic journals and databases provided only in the library’s borders. Remote access to the electronic resources is not possible under the international licensing rules. They can also use our photocopying, printing and scanning services in accordance with copyright rules by paying their fees.
Alumni who are members of the library can make their check-in/check-out transactions from all our branch libraries. They may use the “My Account” link that they can find on the library’s website for online renewal as well as they can make a phone call to extend the due dates of the materials.
All users can view the library’s resources by browsing the library catalog on the Library’s website, forwarding all kinds of questions and receiving reference services using the library’s instant messaging (IM) service. All of these transactions can be carried out by mobile phone through the mobile service of the Library. They can also follow all our activities on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Suna Kirac Library is open 24/7.

Library of Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations
The Library of Anatolian Civilizations Research Center (ANAMED), which is a branch of Koç University Suna Kıraç Library, is located on the second floor of Merkez Han building on İstiklal Street.
The library primarily serves fellows, Koç University students, academic, administrative, retired staff and family members but also open to all postgraduate or independent researchers from outside and engaged in collection-related research under certain conditions. All kinds of entry and exit to the ANAMED Library that is serving in the fields of Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural history, Art History, Cultural heritage, Cultural Conservation, History, Museum Studies and Urban Studies are subject to the membership protocol and is provided through the ANAMED Library Membership System.
Alumni who wish to benefit from the resources of the ANAMED Library within the scope of their study fields can apply for membership and benefit from the library if they are found to meet the necessary conditions. Alumni are required to present their membership cards of the Alumni Association when they are going to use the library.

Health Sciences Library is one of the branch libraries of Suna Kıraç Library which is located on the 3rd floor of Koç University Hospital building in Topkapı. The Collection of the Health Sciences Library is mainly composed of publications related to nursing and health sciences to support the research of faculty and students in line with the curriculum of the School of Medicine and School of Nursing.

Members of Koç University Alumni Association can benefit from the External Membership System, which allows the use of all libraries of the university and borrowing books at discounted rates.
